Are there any people who believe in plasma cosmology here? I started a debate on the subject that no one seems to be interested in. I know of one person on this site who believes in it, but we've already had a debate on similar lines. The link to the debate is below:

I'm becoming less defined as days go by, fading away, and well you might say, I'm losing focus, kinda drifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself.

Plasma Cosmology does not explain a lot of phenomenon, hence it is not a valid alternative. Some of those include:

- Star and galaxy formation
- CMBR
-Olbers paradox
- Gravity

Absolutely!

I did not even think there was a question as to whether or not plasma is a not-uncommon occurrence in several Cosmological mechanisms, including the formation and death of Stars in Inter-Stellar nebulae.

Also it was of course produced in the immediate wake of the Big Bang, when the proto-matter was still even too hot for atoms and molecules to form.

I could provide links, but I think there ar probably so many that you could easily look this up yourself.

Thanks!

What in the world (See what I did thee? LOL) would plasma have to do with Gravity? Which is by far the Weakest of the Four Forces?

I thought the elusive "graviton" was the alleged sub-atomic particle that might be responsible for that?

Again, plasma cosmology does not explain very much, that's why it's been rejected. There would be no gravitons in plasma cosmology, that's the point.

OK..that was my point as well.

But I guess I am not understanding what exactly is inferred by the term "Plasma Cosmology." Since it is most certainly present in Cosmology? As in my aforementioned Nubulae--that is, the birthing and also the death throes of Stars, as in Supernovas. All plasma is, is electrified gas clouds. Right? Thus, are these not rampant in the Universe?

I'm not sure you understand what I mean by "Plasma Cosmology". Here is more about it: https://en.wikipedia.org.... I'm not arguing that plasma is not real.

OK...I think I got it.

That Plasma Cosmology" theory thinks that plasma--although it certainly exists in the Universe--also is MORE IMPORTANT that Gravity for all of its mechanics, like orbits of planets and Expansion and the Red Shift and all that stuff.

Is that correct?
