There is something very special about our Earth. How do you explain this?

Jane, the earth is a slightly flat sphere. Its fattest radius is at the equator, at 3963 miles, while its narrowest radius is at the poles, with 3949.9 miles. This difference is created mainly by rotation. Astronomically and geologically the moern accepted radius is 3959 miles. I'm not aware of any physical significance of the polar radius.

So using it like this seems a case of cherry-picking numbers to impress.

Moreover the use of modern British 'feet' for measuring Stonehenge is anachronistic, and the value of the foot varied substantially throughout Europe and Britain over time. From 1CE onward, the British foot was the Roman foot: 11.64 Imperial inches. From the Anglo-Saxon period, it was around 13.2 inches. After a law was passed in Britain around the 13th century, it became the 12 inches we know today. But none of those measurements has any bearing on a structure 4,000-5,000 years old.

Moreover, archaeologists ascribe Stonehenge five distinct periods of development, spanning about 1500 years. During those periods nine large circles of different radii were constructed, some of chalk banks, and some of holes, likely once containing wooden poles. The ones chosen for your video clip are just those of the big surviving stones from the centre of that. [https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...]

So... sorry, but more cherrypicked numbers and measurements to make confected woo.

There was a problem with the video part-way through but they lost me when they depicted the Earth as a square with four corners. Wtf?

since the planet we call Earth is one planet out of trillions in one Galaxy out of hundreds of Billions, orbiting one average-sized middle=aged Main Sequence star out of trillions...well, I am wondering how it is special?? I could not get the video to load. But very very few astronomers,,I cannot even remember one, claim there is anything special about our planet. Well of course except for that we live on it! Ha! But i mean in the grand scheme of the Universe??
