Cow milk. Is it bad for you? Juvanya recently mentioned that it is unnatural and not right to drink cow's milk and after being weened one should not drink milk.
Does he have a point?

I think he's indian...

so...

Beef jerky = delicious...

... also... I s'pose it's rather Heavy and fatty and the like...

but I like it :) and calcium, and I'd think plenty of other things in it are prolly good for you too.

(though it's "designed" to feed growing cows... so I could see how it might be a bit much for grown humans...)

The Pros vastly outweigh the Cons.

Friend of mine who is from Singapore and is ethnically Chinese thinks drinking milk is disgusting, and even worse, far worse is cheese. Fermented body secretions from a bovine sickens them, but boiled cat yum.

I personally find milk gross, and eat very few dairy products <cream cheese, ice cream, and occasionally yogurt are about it>
But I always thought it was healthy.

Asians are more likely to be lactose intolerant...

(I dunno if it's based in Physiology or habits... but if it's Physiology)
that might Completely explain their aversion to it.

I generally don't consume any dairy products except for cheese, mostly because I don't like them.

As for milk, it contains quite a lot of lovely minerals and vitamins.

So I've heard, but if I understand correctly he seems to think human milk is healthier, and nobody should drink milk after being weened.

Human milk is designed for babies, it provides qualities that boost a babies immune system and provides all the nutrition it needs at that time. Babies grow and their dietary requirements change accordingly. Breast milk is healthier for babies than substitutes, absolutely - but for adults there is very little (near none) on adult benefits. There's one research report I know of thats on tumor size reduction but that's 15 odd years old.

Animal milk is still healthy for adults (barring lactose intolerance). It provides the most calcium you are likely to receive in your diet which is very very important.

I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

I actually prefer the straight stuff myself. In the bucket, through the strainer and into my glass. Chilled of course.

I've heard this is not healthy.

If you try it you will think store bought milk is watered down and unimpressive.

Coffee with milk.

Icecream
All kinds of cheese, particularly fetta.
Yogurt, sweet and natural

I particularly like a ice cold glass of plain milk.

Its the governments plan to kill us off. If we really drink the 3-4 cups a milk recomended we poison ourselves with the dangerous toxins pumped into the cows.
