That was very interesting. Reminded me of high school Psychology class.
However, I'm actually colour blind so some of those shading tricks didn't work for me.

I had to copy the Rubix Cube looking one into paint and cut out the two squares they were claiming we the same color to prove to myself that they were.

They're beveled (shaded), so technically, they're not.

These must be for people who don't use color often.
