Okay, so...it doesn't take a Sherlock to figure out that if you fall asleep in a relatively quiet room, a sudden loud sound can wake you up.
It is also known that if there's a loud sound in a room but you fall asleep through it, the continued loud sound won't wake you.
But how about if you fall asleep with a loud sound but then the sound stops? Could the stopping of the sound potentially wake you?

Anything is possible. Besides waking you up, it could also make you go into a deeper sleep.

From experience, you'd still be asleep. If anything, it would help you sleep.
