Creationism is the practice; in which one forms a hypothesis which states that he/she understands physics/chemistry/etc., and then tries rigorously (and repeatedly) to disprove said hypothesis.

He's going to have to say something coherent first - not sure how one would respond to that bit of static.

I agree, this guy sounds confused, to say the least.

Things are created all the time. The best creators get rich and famous precisely because their work defies formula. But Lord of the Rings, Messiah, iPhone and Google all happened. They are real world.

No, sorry, guys, the ad hominem is on yourselves. You're the ones advertising your ridiculous narrow mindedness.

"Ourselves" being proper scientists? No, no; you don't understand what an ad hominem is. An ad hominem is when a personal attack is used as an argument; but here, it is nothing more than the process of mocking.

Indeed it is; that people holding such ridiculous positions still exist in this day and era.

Or is it more sad?

Look, you're obviously buying into this thing where much of the evolution community hides behind this shtick where they are geniuses and creationists are stupid. But real science is about the scientific method, not intelligence. Creationism is a perfectly valid hypothesis. Don't trust anybody who claims to be a scientist but denies that obvious reality. You're actually siding with the alchemists of our day, who combine real science with a new pantheism that views nature as infused with magical powers. Give the molecules a few billion years and things that can't happen in the lab will emerge in the wild. That's mysticism, not science.

You don't understand to what degree you're projecting yourself (and other creationists) on evolution proponents in this reply. I'm not even going to bother addressing it, because of just how dishonest it is.

Creationism makes testable predictions: stuff will be created by lifeforms. There.

Wait-- does the scientific method require any more rigor than that?

Just a lot smarter than you (based only on your debate.org persona, of course). Like - how can I be bigoted unless I assign you to some class? I'm not seeing any plural there - 'you' singular are a bully with a singular lack of self awareness. You start a thread with a bigoted diatribe against the default belief of mankind and then get indignant when your jackassedness is pointed out???

This reply thread is getting incredibly infantile; I am stopping this here. Reply to this two more times (because clearly one chance isn't enough for a troll like you) and I will block you.
