I'm Rick Harrison and this is my pawn shop. I work here with my old man and my son, Big Hoss, and in 23 years I've learned one thing. You never know what is gonna come through that door.

I was skeptical of this at first, but it seems to be pleasing the physicists. This could make long distance space travel so much easier

It's very exciting for me. I am currently working towards a career with NASA, so I will be interacting with this new propulsion method all the time. We could do so much more with it.

Do you know how powerful is this compared to solar sails?

I find it amazing to think of pioneers who may get on a ship and visit a close galaxy in a few generations on a self contained ship. Far away from such a thing, but the speed at which these low power propulsion systems can get up to over time is astounding.
