Am I the only one who gets annoyed at the stupidity of people who are so conditioned by modern culture that they actually believe dogs, cats, and other pets are naturally predisposed to consuming bags of processed pet food as opposed to, say, a piece of meat? I'm not saying pets should be encouraged to beg at the table but why is it such a taboo to feed a dog a piece of meat that it would have eaten in the wild anyway?

Ironically, the biggest reason in support of identifying "people-food" is that the processed garbage we eat is so unhealthy that it will probably harm pets. But the underlying assumption usually made is that it is healthy for us while it is unhealthy for them...
Beliefs in a nutshell:
- The Ends never justify the Means.
- Objectivity is secondary to subjectivity.
- The War on Drugs is the worst policy in the U.S.
- Most people worship technology as a religion.
- Computers will never become sentient.
