Does anyone actually take this seriously? I'm asking not as a sarcastic insult but because I'm not going to begin dismantling it if no one is convinced by it. At no point does this essay intersect with actual psychology, rational sociobiological assumptions, or reality in general.

Yer mother is a rational sociobiological assumption.

Even Dworkin didn't. She's mealy mouthed about it. She later claimed that intercourse will survive equality, without disavowing "Intercourse," despite the contradiction.

I do.

The essay is quite long and I cannot deal with all of it. What arguments specifically did you find convincing?

He's just intellectualizing about his inability to get püssy. It's an unconscious psychological defense mechanism. http://en.wikipedia.org...

Andrea Dworkin was probably doing the very same thing when she wrote the article herself. Seriously, just look at her: http://4.bp.blogspot.com...

It's actually a chapter from a book.

This is a pretty good summary:
"Intercourse occurs in a context of a power relation that is pervasive and incontrovertible. The context in which the act takes place, whatever the meaning of the act in and of itself, is one in which men have social, economic, political, and physical power over women. Some men do not have all those kinds of power over all women; but all men have some kinds of power over all women; and most men have controlling power over what they call their women--the women they f@ck. The power is predetermined by gender, by being male."

The thesis is all wrong! Women control men with their sacred parts, not the other way around!

Haven't you noticed in relationships, girls will say "if you don't do this for me, you won't be getting any tonight."

Who cares if girls are the ones being penetrated, that doesn't make them less dominant, weaker, or vulnerable. Men penetrate their mouths with food every single day! Does that mean food is dominating men? No.
