Hello to everyone at Debate.org.

I would like to hold a contest starting in this forum. The contest will be on designing society design. After two days of postings, I will start the voting phase. The voting phase will last for 2 days. At the end of the voting phase, a winner will be declared.

Here is the basic variables you have to work with in building your design.

Story: You are granted the power of a god for one day. On this day, you are to design and the change the world of the human race through society design.

- This social design must stay within the realm of the laws of physics and human physiology.

- This design can be derived from chaos or order.

- You must give a basic overview of how your design would effect society basics and how each relates in efficiency towards the overall design. If you want to display an even more detailed overview, please feel free to elaborate.

1.) Offense/Defense

2.) Economy

3.) Energy

4.) Culture

5.) Medical/Health

I'd be inclined to make everyone a moral nihilist and an anarchist. Though such positions are utterly absurd, indeed childish, judging by the people here the most moralistic people are nihilists and the most fervent advocates of the 'good' parts of a state are anarchists.

Such a race, though seriously self-deluded would be able to create a utopia.
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

No, just depressed and impolite.

Comment: It looks like this contest is not very popular. It's too bad. I was interested in seeing what would come out of it.

You might have more luck if you formulate something like this and put it in the Game forum.

Reply: Thank you for the suggestion Innomen. I will consider your words wisely. I hope you have a wonderful day and a great weekend.
