The biggest joke ever played on the American youth is the pants down around your a@@. In prison it means someone owns you and are their bitch. It also means you take it up the shoot. Prison is where it all started. If you wear this fashion consider it like being in training for your eventual need to "really" wear them like that against your will.

Unless you yourself have experience, from what I've read, the pants were worn low in prison because no one had a belt, so it just naturally happened, and caught on to show an allegiance.

Either way, unless you are in prison and have too large of pants with no way of fastening them tighter to your waste... There is no reason for it. It inhibits performance and can be a safety hazard in rare situations. Also, it is in my opinion that it looks sloppy and unprofessional.

Actually, pants falling down started because in ghettos and poor places hand-me-downs were more common. When ghetto life became idealized by Americans as "thugs are cool" the pants were adopted as a style.

I think the biggest joke played on humans in general is fashion. To this day, I remain suspicious of the claim that seasons have distinct clothing colors attributed to them.

Not to be that guy, but would it be wrong of me to take that as a bit of a homophobic remark?

I didn't take it as homophobic. Not really sure how it would qualify as homophobic. But then, I've always thought the word "homophobic" was a bad word to begin with, since it confuses "hate" with "fear."

Homosexualmisia is more accurate. But even then, not sure if that still applies.

I've seen people that wear a belt and have their pants around their knees. I still haven't figured that one out.
Don't take me too seriously plz, i'm rarely on here sober

The belt is for whoopin.
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.
