Who do you think is the greatest, most inspiring person who did the most for Canada?

Nationality is a morally and ontologically benighted concept. How's that for brevity?!
Yo, all of my subliterate conservative criticasters who find perusing and processing the sesquipedalian verbiage of my posts to be such a bothersome brain-taxing chore, I have a new nickname for you. Henceforth you shall be known as Pooh Bears. No, not for the obvious apt reasons, i.e., not because you're full of pooh, and not because of your ursine irritability. Rather, you put me in mind of an A.A. Milne quote, "I am a Bear of Very Little Brain, and long words bother me". Love ya, Pooh Bears.

Not brief enough.

Hard to say, but I'd say Trudeau is up there.

Trudeau of course. I'm surprised it took So long for him to be mentioned.

I would say at the top of my head ; trudeau, Pearson, Mackenzie king, John McDonald, Wayne Gretzky , theres many great Canadians.

#1 has to be Trudeau. He created the charter of rights and freedoms, signed the constitution in 1982, finally making Canada completely independent, he fought the Quebec separatists and kept Canada united, he stood up for individual rights, he layed the foundation for the next generations. Read up on him, he did many great things, also many controversial things, like use the war measures act during the FLQ crisis.

That's a disturbing comment. I have nothing against America, but it's people like you that give it a bad rep in this world. People who think America is everything, and the universe revolves around America. Ignorant to the world... Try to learn more about the world, maybe you would realize there's more to life than a burger.

To be fair, I think he was joking. I actually laughed despite being Canadian. ^_^

Leah12 quite obviously. We have a statue of her in my hometown on Mars. She inspired us all to do stuff in a vague but meaningful way and now we have cake guns.

The Fool !!!!
"The bud disappears when the blossom breaks through, and we might say that the former is refuted by the latter; in the same way when the fruit comes, the blossom may be explained to be a false form of the plant's existence, for the fruit appears as its true nature in place of the blossom. These stages are not merely differentiated; they supplant one another as being incompatible with one another." G. W. F. HEGEL
