I don't get how people can say things like, "Occupy? They aren't going to solve anything by yelling at random people!", and think that what they are saying makes any sense at all
It isn't yelling at random people, it is protesting: Which we have a right as Americans to do. (Though it can be debated that this right is starting to diminish)
Seriously I don't get how "Ultra Conservatives" are so appalled by this movement. They are appalled by people actually recognizing that there are problems, and trying to do something about it.
They are disgusted by people who don't just sit down bitching about the government, but actually make an attempt to take action and change the way the wealth in this nation operates.
They have this warped view, that the people in Occupy are violent radicals who the police so helplessly try to control, but cannot. Lool it makes me laugh when people say things like that Occupy is dangerous, when the police are severely and clearly abusing their authority
Seriously, just go to a protest and see if that is too violent and radical for you. I guess people just standing there protesting, and exercising their freedom of speech, are causing too much of a "disturbance" to the country

Their problem is that the people in the Occupy movements are starting to lose faith in pure capitalism.

I guess but that doesn't represent all of the people in Occupy. There are many different varied people in this movement. From Socialists, to Libertarians, etc. It's a movement that everyone should get involved in because this wealth difference affects all of us.

I like occupy's message. Crony capitalism has to stop; but I hate most of their solutions (more tax, more regulation - especially regulation. It creates more corporatism!, or basically anything which involves government interfering more as opposed to ceasing intefering)

That is a totally rational perspective.

And, sincerely, I appreciate it.

The other threads on this subject have been outright nauseating.

One way or another, I support their primary initiative, because things are unacceptable.

EXACTLY. I hate how some of the threads that have been posted here have extremely exaggerated the actions of people who are representing "us."
They shouldn't be made the enemy because the represent "us." It's funny how FOX turns the victims into the enemies

What's wrong with how they are protesting?
