Despite my being ashamed to admit, I am currently unemployed. Although it would be in my best interest to find a job soon (rent etc..), I become easily discouraged after doing storming through applications with no results.

So other than rudimentary applications and resumes, I would be interested to hear if anyone has any key strategies to outshine the competition when it comes to job hunting. All suggestions are welcome, if any at all.

Nothing to be ashamed of, it's not easy getting a job.

It can be extremely discouraging sometimes. I try to cater each application and resume to the specific job I'm applying to. It can be tedious but it seems to get me better results.

Being unemployed is the worst feeling that a man can experience and specially if you live in a society that is narrow minded and surrounded by the shackles of culture and tradition. Being a journalist I have witness this situation very nearly when one does not have any job...I have written many articles that help people in searching job and getting one too...read this for more details: http://naveennaqwi.wordpress.com...

You should get my job. You could read Foucault the entire time till your heart's content.

Parks and Rec. It's a seriously chill job.

Of course, I don't always get to sit around and wait for little kids to break things are for parents to ask me stupid questions (Indoor basketball), but the rest of the time I get to listen to music or audio books while I line fields.
