So I happened to be awake in my country at the same time as the Boston bombings, media goes wild and I sit here on my chair and think. 'Here we go again.' Would anyone like to speculate who did it and why? I am immensely curious.

I know that there are a lot of looneys out there but its getting to frequent. I have much reason to believe 9/11 was a inside job. I have reason to believe that recent attacks on schools and events in Boston has and will lead us to put even more restrictions on the citizen while claiming the whole time it is helping the citizen. It only helps those that have no problem being controlled by government.

Everything that happened can be equally explained by either:

1. A cell of home-grown americans who claim Al Qaedas principles but have never actually made substantial contact with anyone connected to Al Qaedas command structure. Possibly from the Boston area.

2. Timothy McVeigh-esque lone-wolf from the Boston area or nearby.

I lean towards 1. Simultaneous bombings at multiple sites is much more difficult for a single man to accomplish than one huge explosion at a particular time.

some of these things are too far to consider the government
Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

Does it really in the end matter who did it. The US govt wont do anything about it. Oh sure they will find some poor slob to pin it on and have some kangaroo court clown show trial. Or maybe drop a bomb on something and say case closed. Then they will say that they are winning the war on terrorism.

Then after a while another terrorist attack will happen. Get used to it, this is how the people of Israel live all the time. If you don't want to get used to it and not live like Israel then you better be prepared to kill hundreds of thousands of people including "so called" innocent civilians. That is the only solution.

Our (The US) actions have to be so ruthless and brutal and so over the top that the rest of the world cowers in fear of complete annihilation for even harbouring or speaking of terrorism. The rest of the world needs to be so scared that any country that currently and knowingly harbours and funds terrorists will round them up and have them all executed or risk complete and total anialation of it's country and entire population.

If you want an accurate opinion of your country, ask anyone from another country. The average opinion of America with Australian's is the same opinion as Czechoslovakia. Absolutely nobody cares at all.

Extraordinary claims require verifiable evidence that would prove the extraordinary.

It is not that fact that they require miraculous evidence, but that what the evidence has to do is extraordinary.

The point of terrorism is to strip you of freedom. Terrorism is delt with in only two ways. 1) The terrorist knows that the pacifist mind will enslave himself by stripping himself of all liberty and freedom in exchange for security. This is how we are dealing with it now.

or 2) you retaliate with such over the top ruthlessness and kill everyone within ten miles of a known terrorist, the country or countries that harbour them and fund them will suffer a hundred times more thus making the terrorist unwanted anywhere and unable to set up operations or fund themselves. For every American killed 1000 dead in the harbouring country or countries. Home grown terror? Flogged and beaten to within an inch of their life in the public square for all to witness and then hang them. That is the only way you will stop terrorism. Trying to do surgical bombings is a waste of time and pointless. Trials? Ya, that sure shows em give them rights and an attorney and put them in a jail that is more likely better than where they came from.

You have to be 100 times more ruthless than the terrorist when you retaliate. There are no innocent civilians in a war of terrorism. Just ask the people in Boston and New York.
