How would you best describe your opinion on the last sentence here...

Why are people asked to choose between the baby and the mother during complications then? Why wouldn't we just let the mother die and save the baby? Er der, because babies only come first if the parents choose to.

Interesting wording but it is true. You also have to consider that if complications occur during delivery, the mother may have a better chance if suviving the delivery than the baby.

The point of posting was to ask about the wording. Example: Saying "Er der" in a debate. lol

It was used to signify the answer was obvious. Granted there could have been a better way to get the point across, but it served its purpose if it emotionally jarred the person by provoking a different perspective that he/she wasn't considering before. It may seem like it's offensive, but it doesn't seem insulting.

He's confused as to why we're not typing like we're having a formal debate.

I know this topic is from awhile back. I just wanted to say I did comment on that. It's within the week long argument we had. Now Albino, I noticed you didn't accept my debate?
