Missouri, anyone -- Midwest?

Even if you consider Kentucky and WV Southern, Missouri is still Midwestern and Lutheran.

Even if you consider Kentucky and WV Southern, Missouri is still Midwestern and Lutheran.
That's not to say that I don't think the South is English, because it is. But even if they were to not be that, that would still make the English in MIssouri, Protestants, specifically, just as guilty of slavery as the states of the South.
Missouri is probably the only non-Southern state to have slavery. And they were Protestant and free of immigrant influence, so don't point fingers at the Irish.
