"What is the most meaningful thing I can do with my life?"

By answering this, would I not have determined a major meaning to my life?

There is no purpose to it, just live and die. And possibly attempt some other things in the process.
Turn around, go back.

What determines whether something has meaning or not ?

Reminded me of one of my favorite quotes - I actually have on my profile.

"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

- John Lennon

Live happy! :)

Thank you for asking this!

My view:

All life wants to live. So, we want individual survival, group survival and species survival.

Individual: we are attracted to happy, healthy people, we are afraid of threats
Group: We love each other, we want our football teams to do well.
Species: We are erotically drawn to each other, we bear children, we fear extinction

In order to survive, we need to love each other, so that we can work intimately for common goals, and raise families.

In order to love each other we have to learn how to be useful for each other.

So, the ultimate goal of humanity is to Live, Love and Learn. As long as we live, almost everything that we do can be grouped into these three things.

On one hand, there is no purpose to life. Because there is no purpose behind nature.

But, for yourself, you can make your life meaningful by doing things that enhance the lives of other people or becoming successful. The word 'success' to the average person means earning a lot of money and having a home, two cars, children in college. Success to me is entirely different to what success is to the average person. Success is being a successful human being in terms of pursuing what you believe in. If you believe in making paintings, writing poetry, writing music. If this is what you really want, you're successful to yourself. But to be successful to your culture means to sell yourself short of what you really want.

Because Calvinism in a essence, is the most sad type of faith to hold to lol. I am still inclined to believe you are a troll, that just seems to add to it.

Just seems like you are a troll account.

The tulip itself depending on how you perceive it, is faith that you are born to go to hell. Depends on whether you are a 5 point or 7 point Calvinist. The essential points behind it though, object to free will.

I'm sorry you think that. Your actually the first person to say that btw.

No, we are not born to go to hell just because we are born to go to hell. Our sin separates us from God and that is why we deserve nothing but His wrath in hell. I hold to 5 point Calvinism. And that is correct. Free will cannot be done by someone's own authority or power unless its to make a human choice ( not a spiritual choice ). People have a free will to choose what they will do throughout their days or what they will wear or if they want to commit crime or not. But not choose God.. How can a dead person rise from the dead on its own? In the same stance, how can a spiritually dead soul rise itself or save its self from damnation, hell, God's wrath if its nature is to sin? It can't that's only by the power of God can someone be saved.

I studied religion for years. I just know the principles behind it. Well mainly the ones taught by Augustine and john piper. I just don't believe in slight Calvinism. People alter the points, but to actually call yourself a Calvinist you have to accept the 5 initial ones. Granted some people add the extra two.
