This is the first I'm hearing about it and it does seem to have a particular agenda in many of its articles.

The wiki article on it says the following:

http://en.wikipedia.org...

"The site's mission statement states one of its goals is "to present a more balanced and fair image of the pro-European struggle for the general public as well as for academics, who until now have been dependent on strongly biased and hostile 'researchers' like Searchlight, Anti-Defamation League, Southern Poverty Law Center, Simon Wiesenthal Centre, and such."

"According to the administrators, Metapedia is intended to be "a web resource for pro-European activists"."

"According to the North Rhine-Westphalian Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Metapedia's articles are characterized by historical revisionism and lauding Nazi Germany. For this reason, the German Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons started an indexing process, that is, it is considering declaring Metapedia "harmful to young people"."

...

Rational wiki says:

http://rationalwiki.org...

"Metapedia is a thinly veiled neo-Nazi propaganda site that almost makes Conservapedia look well-adjusted."

....

TV Tropes says:

http://tvtropes.org...

"The site has over 15,000 articles in English and has versions in nine European (and only European!) languages. Sometimes they copy Wikipedia pages wholesale, and just add a racist twist."

"Also, Metapedia is famous for putting a little asterisk (shaped like the Star of David) next to the names of any Jewish persons, to remind the reader that they're Jews."

...

So it's probably safe to say that it provides information with a particular agenda in mind...

No it is clearly neo-nazi. It says gypsies are a race of lower intelligence, they put stars next to jews, they state clearly that africans are of lower intelligence and genetic material, they link anti-gay and anti-jew videos to article pages.

Further proof
------------------------
Adolf Hitler remains one of the preeminent individuals in human history. In his personal life Hitler was a vegetarian, supported animal welfare, sympathized with the poor, was a fine artist and enjoyed classical music.

Parks have signs saying not to feed wild animals because it makes them dependant on humans for food, overpopulated, and more aggressive toward humans.
