Lincoln-Douglas Help needed:

I have been unable to block out the Value/Value Criterion combination of Human Dignity and the Principle of Double Effect, as developed by Thomas Aquinas. State debate is tomorrow and I need a response to this more than any other argument. The most likely contender for the final round is using this case and I need some way to block this out.

Thank you,

kinda late, aren't we?

What is the resolution?
: If you weren't new here, you'd know not to feed me such attention. This is like an orgasm in my brain right now. *hehe, my name is in a title, hehe* (http://www.debate.org...)

Just in case I get into some BS with FREEDO again about how he's NOT a narcissist.

"The law is there to destroy evil under the constitutional government."
So... what's there to destroy evil inside of and above the constitutional government?

I know it's late in the game, but its not like a fundamental case change is needed, just a quick block

Resolved: Economic Sanctions ought not be used to achieve foreign policy objectives.

This one is much easier. :P Harm in DE *cannot* be the method of which the good is arrived at, it needs to be a side effect. Trade sanctions are explicitly a harm intended to promote a good action.
