but... i'm pretty much gauranteed at least 300 bucks... so it's kinda tough not to work.

I tried to convince my mom that she wanted KFC for dinner. That way she would not have to cook. I failed...

Me and my siblings are going to make a homemade meal.

I'm poor

and on top of that i really do think its a stupid holiday. i love my mom everyday, whats the point of putting on a show just because some cultural norm tells me so?

it would be a lot more meaningful if you people actually decided to pick a random day and shower your moms with praise and gifts!
evidently i only come to ddo to avoid doing homework...

More meaningful, likely. But I don't want to be in the same house with my mother after not doing anything for her on MOTHER's day.

meh. fake holiday as far as i am concerned :P

Exactly. I don't support many national holidays. Hell, they should come up with a Son's Holiday. I work every day.

I am not doing anything because to me, every day is the day I want to do something nice to my mother.

What are you doing for your mother this Mother's Day?

I've drawn a blank.

I printed out a card from Microsoft Word that I typed up for her. I included an inside joke: "This just looks like a card, but this may be the BEST MOTHER'S DAY GIFT EVER.
Free "STOP WHINING AND GET IT DONE" Card!
So you shove it in my face, and BOOM! I'll stop whining and get it done!
See mom, I think about you EVERY DAY! :D

resultsmayvary."

That's what I did :3
