We aren't as bad as many other countries, but yes, our country has been in debt since its founding. http://www.visualeconomics.com...

There is no actual money it's all an illusion, if people were to withdraw all the money supposedly in banks there wouldn't actually be enough money! they would have to print more which leads to money become devalued and hyper inflation as in Germany 1930's or Zimbabwe more recently

Not you, at least not yet. Rich people who are risk averse-- buying treasury bonds and whatnot.

Of course, if you make enough money to be taxed you'll be paying the interest on it (And-- hopefully if you ever want it to end-- the principal).

War.

Most of the "War" budget is really "welfare to other countries' governments." A small minority is spending on, you know, actually preparing to kill and killing enemies.

Nothing to brag about.

we also have to spend money on being in EU
How much is that?

send alot in aid and alot on wars that one of our allies likes to start
Rofl, Europe spends comparatively nothing on that. Europe's defense is MASSIVELY subsiized by the US policing the world.

excuse me but we went to war with America in both Iraq and Afganistan and by we i'm talking UK, we a still in afganistan fighting besides your troops, and still having troops killed, thankyou. Typical Yank think you rule the world, and policing is one way of looking it, interferring and sticking you nose in where not wanted, needed or desired in any way is another!!!

-This is a stupid idea-
Sometimes, I wonder why the US doesn't just use all their money for the year to take care of the debt, and don't spend it on anything else.
But then, I realize that is retarded.
However, I want you guys to discuss your opinion on it.
I miss the old members.

After lobbying to get text added. Knowing it will be passed.

There are many who actually want something like this. Gigantic changes in expenditures, or a balanced budget bill. The current system is not sustainable and will eventually need a change in our process. We are far from alone in this, and we are also far from the worst in this. Europe is not exactly doing the best in terms of their expenditures.
