Most stereotypes are based on some sort of truth. Is there a stereotype about one of your aspects of identity or ethnic origin that you will admit to being based in truth?

Agreed, for the most part.

Is there a stereotype about one of your aspects of identity or ethnic origin that you will admit to being based in truth?

Nope. I'm half Italian, half Irish/German/Western European. My Dad's side, which is basically 100% Italian, is obnoxious -- and I can confirm the Italian stereotypes for the most part. My Mom's side isn't really 100% anything, so I can't comment on the stereotypes really. Personally though, I wouldn't fall into the stereotypes of any nationality or ethnicity.

Same. (With the latter statements, not the family background.)

That's not an ethnic stereotype.

That's not an ethnic stereotype.

So? It's a stereotype of identity, which is entirely permissible if you read the original post.

I'm Irish, but don't fit into many of the stereotypes. I'm not religious, not an alcoholic (yet), not a fighter, nor do I hold some strange grudge against the English.
