I hear everyone on this site always if not attacking at least suggesting that Texans are some sort of crazed weirdos and I live in Texas and don't get out of state very often so I was wondering what do you guys actually know about Texans or are there any questions you would like to ask?

Just to start out I am going to debunk some of the popular misconceptions
1. Texans don't ride horses around
No we don't where did that idea come from in the first place?
2. Incest
The government ended incest by making it a misdemeanor
3. The Giant Race of Underground Lizardmen
No there is not a giant cave underneath Texas that houses a secret alien race of lizardmen called the Melchezidek
4.(and my personal favorite) Sacrificing homosexuals on top of refineries
No Texans do not sacrifice homosexuals on top of our refineries and throw them in the Gulf of Mexico do your realized what kind of throwing arm that would require just form the Texas City refinery to say nothing of the Valero refinery

Let's put it this way: everything is superior in Texas.
It is odd when one's capacity for compassion is measured not in what he is willing to do by his own time, effort, and property, but what he will force others to do with their own property instead.

I'll have to disagree. Your school board seems to be inferior in the sense that statewide, it does not allow the teaching of evolution in most of its textbooks.

I'm just proving that Texas is not full-out superior compared to other states ;)

You'll also find a lot more attractive women in Florida.

I understand. Hence the "everything's bigger in Texas" cliche.

You'll find overweight problems in most areas you visit. I'm not sure if it is true or not, but I have read that almost seventy percent of Americans are obese.

It's especially bad out in the country.

Not impossible. Obesity affects reproduction rates, so maybe we'll suffer badly enough from underpopulation that our welfare system will collapse.

I assume you live in the suburbs or a rural area? I live in the former.

I don't support the welfare system currently, so that wouldn't be too bad. I'd just appreciate it if more people lived healthier lives.

Alright. Burbs buddies. Have you lived anywhere else in your life? (In another state, I mean.)
