If you think so, tell me what yours is. I have a really wierd one: Ommetaphobia (fear of eyes)

I don't mind looking at people, but talking about anything to do with eyes just really, really creeps me out. I can't even where contacts!

I really don't know of anything I'm afraid of. I don't like spiders, insects or pigeons... but I'm not afraid of them. I just don't like them.

I am not really afraid of heights, failure, or any of the conventional fears that most people have. I don't mind bees; bees don't bother me.

I've never really found a dog that I was afraid of either. I have this weird thing with dogs that I look at them and they calm down. I'm not sure how it works... it just happens.

For me it's birds. I'm pretty much completely fearless except when it comes to birds. Occasionally a duck will walk close to me or something and I'll kind of try to run away from it without drawing attention to the fact I'm running.

Proditiophobia - fear of being betrayed by a loved one. It's one of the many reasons I don't have many close relationships.

So I had this friend which needed to have his cornea cut in half and-

Oh, ok. No, I have no phobias, although some arthropods make me nervous lol.

Why?! Why would you say that??

I heard that every person has a phobia, but they just might not know what it is yet.

Whenever I see one of these inside a house, it certainly the **** counts as a phobia.

You should have seen my roommate and I jumping around screaming this Summer when one of these was in a box he had and we had to deal with it...

I'm not sure that is a phobia.
There is a difference between being creeped out and being afraid.

A house centipede. Somebody brought up arthropods and made me think of it.

It's a house centipede and you are right to not click it.

I am terrified of insects larger than the diameter of a dime.

I was afraid it was a bug of some sort.

Have you encountered this particular type of centipede before? They are not like the common centipedes I am used to out East, the dark red ones I used to find under rocks as a kid... these monsters are the absolute top of the food chain as far as insects are concerned. They will hunt spiders, wasps, and any other thing that isn't as big as a rodent. They are extremely fast and when I see them my blood pressure starts to rise right away. I'm not somebody who has problems with insects, I'll pick up a spider, I'll let a wasp land on me, I'll let ants crawl on me as long as they aren't biting. But these things... these things make my skin crawl and it's phobia-like.

I have a house, and I have seen at least three bugs that I have never seen before.
I hope they are all gone now :/
I've never seen a centipede in a house before, and we had at least three. They were big, black, and scary as hell.
I do not handle bugs well, especially those with more than six legs, but even big insects make be jump (like big beetles).
