Coincidentally, I was looking at that just yesterday. It has been up for quite some time however. It makes many helpful/useful points. My essay (or debating resource) on this is far more thorough however.

Heterosexism is substantially diminished in many nations, particularly western ones, relative to a few decades ago but the same is unfortunately not true of some nations.

I'm currently attempting to compile a list of every study ever used to criticise LGBT people and refute those criticisms, using the studies themselves and/or other peer-reviewed research, in as specific a way as possible. The essay I linked to above provides generic refutations of all heterosexist arguments.
Please avoid quoting all of large posts - it needlessly means we have to scroll through them to navigate a thread.

Yes Some people prefer the Family Research Council version. They certainly aren't biased, are they?
