1. Mexicans taking our jobs and invading our country.

2. The Jews controlling the media and banking and using their muscle to get the armed forces to serve Israel's best interests instead of America's.

3. The blacks who disproportionately commit more crime then whites. If we could cure that problem, we'd dramatically cut out 50% of the murder rate and rape rate.

4. Women are trying to act like men, which is destroying the family unit and ripping apart the fabric of society. As a result, divorce rates are through the roof and teenage girls are all hussies.

5. Gay people destroying the institution of marriage.

1. Very large National Debt
2. International challenges provided by nations like Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, etc.
3. The detrimental effects upon Evangelicals caused by a secular, post-modern culture

Trolling?
"Here the ways of men part: if you wish to strive for peace of soul and pleasure, then believe; if you wish to be a devotee of truth, then inquire." F. Nietzsche.

"Freedom is always freedom for the one who thinks differently." R. Luxemburg.

"The principle of the masochistic left is that, in general, two blacks make a white, half a loaf is the same as no bread." G. Orwell, paraphrase.

"Islamophobia is a word created by fascists, used by cowards, to manipulate morons". Andrew Cummins.

I live in Canada

Major Societal problems here are:

1. Our country is way too liberal and supports anything with the words human rights on it even if it has little to do with human rights

2. The fact that the NDPs exist and are getting elected

3. The fact that the green party exists and are getting elected

4. The Toronto Maple Leafs suck

All I can think of at the moment

For Australia:

1. Somewhat lax immigration laws allowing non-integrating foreigners residency

2. Tall Poppy-Syndrome attempting to axe anyone who actually achieves something in life

3. Gay marriage knocking on the door; got through at some stage. Matter of time before it does again

4. Hook-up culture which makes a mockery out of relationships and turns them into degenerate, animalistic acts which are meaningless outside of sexual pleasure. Girls become whores who are unfit for motherhood; boys become PUAs or MGTOWs who are not fit for fatherhood

5. Sky-rocketing divorce rate

6. Overburdened welfare system (although it's surprisingly getting better)

7. Aboriginals get welfare for being Aboriginal (yet they still complain)

8. Australian identity is being destroyed by multiculturalism

9. Education system becoming outcomes/tick-the-box based

1. Harper trying to turn the country into a police state.

2. Embarrassingly low voter turnout.

That's really all I can think of at the moment.

Racism
Sexism
Homophobia
Xenophobia
An extremely unequal society
Basic human rights ignored:
-Freedom of Speech
-Freedom of Expression
-Freedom of Thought
Water is a bottled, branded product
The number of deaths from smoking (40 000 per annum) are covered up since it would make the government less money. However, death by car accident (2000 per annum) are widely publicised and considered shocking and unnaceptable.
Dozens of people are raped every night from GHB spiking in their drinks (40% men 60% women)

ROTFLMAO !!! Mexicans, Jews, Blacks, Women, and Gays.

I would say the biggest societal problem in the USA is egotistical WASP males who fear losing their presumed superiority.

I might agree with you if you modified #3; changing "upon" to "by" and deleted the last 7 words.

Might I add: 30,000+ USA deaths per year from gun violence.

What's wrong with being superior to others? Why allow inferior races to dominate? If a buck of cockroaches took over your house, would calling an exterminator signify fear of losing your superiority?

For New Zealand:

1. Bloody Australians resenting the fact that we're slowly taking over Queensland and WA. Talking about legislating so we can't bludge off their welfare system anymore.

2. World Cup year again. Looks like we'll be meeting France in the Quarters again. Those seeds of doubt are just constantly hanging around the edges!

3. Bloody scenery is too awesome. Too many mountains, volcanoes and forests and whatnot. Distracting us from our bludging and rugby.

That's about it really. Bludging and Rugby are really the only things we strive for down here.

Offset by the comfort that at least we don't have annoyingly nasal accents and we can say words with more than two syllables in them without dropping them down to one and chucking an "-o" on the end.

Did Ayn Rand write these lyrics? It's a great analogy, btw.

Our species is dimorphic via biological sex. Sexism is a recognition of reality

Inequality is unavoidable and sometimes rewards people who generate wealth

Oh believe me, I know! An Aussie reporting someone for racist remarks? Hilarious!
It's as ironic as an Aussie complaining that someone drinks too much or that Libya's landscape is, "too samey".

You can't be full Aussie though because you used four bits of punctuation in that sentence and even though one bit was missing, two of them were in the right place!

Political detachment

Historical ignorance

The rabid adoption of pre-packaged ideologies and the resulting rampant confirmation bias

Entitlement

Low standards

Cultural degradation

An abuse of humor, leading to a general dearth of any real sense of gravity and wonder

The watering-down of education standards, and the delusional belief that everyone should go to college and get the same things out of an education

The fact that many people are proud of being so stupid that it's vomit-inducing

Red Solo Cups

It works with the existing machinery of Capitalism, talks and thinks in the existing terms of Capitalism, appeals to just those appetites which Capitalism has aroused, and ridicules as fantastic and unheard-of just those things in society the memory of which Capitalism has killed among men wherever the blight of it has spread."

People just aren't held to high moral standards. People accept corruption in politics, dishonesty in the news, and brutality in the military without blinking an eye. Society as a whole has abandoned its responsibility to self-police through the cultivation of opprobrium.

Cultural degradation

What does it mean to be American? Where is out sense of community? It was always a loose cultural tradition, but it seems to have been almost completely abandoned at this point.
