Feminists, and Masculinists are two overly abused and polarized terms so the idea of Equalists has been coined who are truly for equality in both genders. Thoughts upon the subject.

Most feminists acknowledge that the genders are separate but equal (in terms of value). However it's true that the term is abused, though that's because there's still a debate regarding how to even define the term.

I'm an "equalist" in regards to the fact that _on balance_ sex should not be a contributing value, HOWEVER, in most simple value situations (e.g. strength, attracting customers) there is a significant preference (thus value) in one versus the other. Loading trucks with heavy objects is likely more efficient by men (and a subset at that); attracting male customers at hooters is likely more efficient by women (and a subset at that).

People who argue for complete equality in all variables are deluded and doing themselves no favors--if you are better than a counterpart at something, why wouldn't you _advertise_ it, rather than argue? Furthermore, general pushes for "equality" usually neglects the preferences of the people being equalized--perhaps more men WANT to load trucks; perhaps more women WANT to work at hooters. In both case, at least it aligns with their potential rather than some ideology.

Let people want want they want, it's simpler than any other option.

Whoever promotes the rights of one particular gender in preference to another should be punished. Our societies have too many problems to deal with already. Feminism is a disease, and masculinism too will turn into a disease if we do not hinder feminism from rising. Promoting justice between both genders is the just thing here.

Men and women are biologically different thus are better suited for different roles. Of course, there are exceptions as you do occasionally see women working in construction, men working as nurses, etc.

When I wife tells me to make her a sandwich (she always says it in a nicer tone then I used, of course). I respond with, "POOF, you're a sandwich!" It drives her nuts, lol.

I agree with this. I don't think any gender should be favored when applying for a position, I do not think that women should have to wear skirts or dresses (especially if men don't have to)
If they are equal on paper then give them a test in the feild. Whatever it is make them do something they would be doing at their job and whoever does it best, and fastest should get it. there is *no* way they will both have the same time and efficiency.

Don't mind Mirza - he's just uneducated and doesn't know there are variations of feminism -- most of which promote equal worth, and not the worth of women over men as he so presumptuously and ignorantly alludes to.

The fact that there are such forms, and that the name itself leans on those forms, makes it sufficient for me to loathe it. And I also loathe masculinism, so you do not have to be sad because I attack your nonsensical piece of deluded and backwards concept.

Okay so just because there are forms of islam that breed violence, anger, and killing means thats enough for people to loathe islam?
