Make one big unisex changing room with little rooms/stalls inside to change. At pools, put the showers on the pool deck so everyone can shower with their bathing suit on

think it might make transgenders happy and other people as well since they can change in a stall in privacy

This is a dreadful idea. The reason changing rooms are sex divided is because at their core, humans are animals with urges. Allowing animals, with (something very strong) urges to procreate, to be in the same room together, is asking for trouble.

With all due respect to transgender people, their numbers are vanishingly small (approximately 0.3%, depending on sources cited). Is it a reasonable request that the vast majority caters to a vanishingly small demographic, especially in light of the harm mentioned above?
Free vote -- short read. I've spent well over 15 hours researching abortion in the past week, so there might be something there for you. I recommend reading Con's counter-arguments first to come to a quick decisions, but the choice is all yours:

EvanescentEfflorescense, I think that the world under 3500's motion wouldn't be as bad as you make it out to be. Their proposal involves making people change in separate stalls; thus, nobody would be able to see anyone else's half-naked body.

While transgender people are a minority, as 3500 stated above, there is a second benefit to their proposal; by making everyone change in stalls, everyone would have more privacy. Right now, man's changing rooms usually make men change in the open.
Just giving you my 50 cents

I don't see this proposal here, but nonetheless, let's discuss it. If people are changing in separate stalls, then doesn't that defeat the purpose of merging? I have a feeling I am missing something from my conception of you argument, though...

thus, nobody would be able to see anyone else's half-naked body.

Just to clarify, by "half-naked", you mean without a shirt on, or underclothing, or perhaps something different?

If the latter sentence is the problem, why couldn't you merely change the nature of men's changing rooms, instead of this massive, likely expensive overhaul?
