I'm sure it's a logical fallacy, but I'm not sure which specific one.

P1) I hate white people.
P2) I am white myself.
C) I am not racist.

Non-Sequitor. What is the significance of P2?

NOTE: This isn't my view.

It isn't significant, hence why it's a fallacious argument.

i think the implied premise is "i don't hate myself" so that its not racism... it just so happens that most other white people have some trait that you dislike.
evidently i only come to ddo to avoid doing homework...

From P1 and P2, why can't the conclusion just as easily be "I hate myself?"

One can be a racist and hate themselves, or be racist and like themselves...

Agreed. Even though it's not your argument, you were looking for an answer to why it doesn't work. This is why.

The best is "I'm not racist, I have a black girlfriend". My ex said that to me after I called him racist hahaha

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the "black friend" excuse...

I don't have any black friends. Does that make me racist?

Note there are no african americans in any of my classes... some nigerians, but all the foreign kids keep to themselves.

Yes. Just because you don't hate a certain person of a race does not mean you are a racist. It could mean that you are the only exception to the entire category.
You are racist, but you have a good sense of self-preservation. Or you just hate yourself.
