I have this conversation with Skep a lot: the left needs someone who can check their bullsh!t - something that would be covered by people like George Carlin in the past but hasn't been filled since his death. Well, I think I found it. The host of the YouTube channel Secular Talk, Kyle Kulinsky, has become one of my favorite people on the internet and/or in media lately because of his propensity for checking bullsh!t in the left.

Examples:

Vs Salon: https://www.youtube.com...
https://www.youtube.com... (related to first)

On Gamergate: https://www.youtube.com...

On Justin Trudeau: https://www.youtube.com...

Vs Mother Jones: https://www.youtube.com...

These are just a few examples, and I won't list more because this alone will take enough time to watch, but this is generally how Kulinsky operates on his show, and I like it a lot.

And I'm much obliged to you for making it clear - that I'm not here."

He's one of my favorite people in the left. Definitely the lowest number of eyerolls/minute when watching his coverage.
"The Collectivist experiment is thoroughly suited (in appearance at least) to the Capitalist society which it proposes to replace. It works with the existing machinery of Capitalism, talks and thinks in the existing terms of Capitalism, appeals to just those appetites which Capitalism has aroused, and ridicules as fantastic and unheard-of just those things in society the memory of which Capitalism has killed among men wherever the blight of it has spread."

Whatever is uttered in conversations with skpskm better stay there.

If you're seriously looking for a way to check the validity of arguments, then do not go down that lazy route of just looking for deadpan commentary on YouTube.

Don't be yet another copy-pasting dope.
