The 5-0 Packers meet the 0-4 Rams next week. The Rams lowliness is crowned by being the only team pathetic enough to lose to the Dream Team. Many props to the person who can get the score closest to actual

My guess: Packers 56, Rams 6

If the Rams beat the Packers, then you guys better have something especially embarrassing for me to do for the next week to demonstrate my humiliation.

If the Rams win, I think I'll send you a suicide help hotline number.

BREAKING UPDATE: Steven Jackson will be playing. Make that 31-13 Packers.

I still stand by my score. Though lol at you dropping 25 points from Green Bay for one guy, who isn't even on defense.

Time of possession. His response may be a bit radical, but it's not facially absurd to consider runningback performance to take points off the opposing team's score.

While I agree that is may have some difference, I can't imagine it taking so much time off as to remove 25 points (at least 4 scoring drives).

Ragnar hit it on the head - teams that play GB (especially with a break-out RB on their roster) usually try to dominate the clock to keep Rodgers & co. off the field. There's really no other way to defeat them. It's no wonder that GB down-plays it's pass-defense to protect against the run, giving up huge chunks of yardage in the process. They know that as long as they are stiff against the run, that the other team will have to try and keep up with Rodgers and in doing so will likely throw a couple of picks.

Additionally, I was not really expecting GB to score that high. GB is trying to lay as low as possible, if that's possible.

They want to stay low-key (is what I should have said). The Lions' fame right now is an extremely big advantage for the Packers. So was the dream-team drama (although that didn't last very long, did it). The AFC East teams are all headliners this year as well. The Packers understand that the more spotlighted they are, the more work other teams will put in to defeat them. They don't want undue pressure (at least this early in the season) and they don't want other teams seeking glory by playing extra-hard against them.

20-17 Rams Steven Jackson is going to end the game trucking Clay Matthews (Thereby making Matthews his B1tch) and then stiff arming one of the corners for a 65yard run for a touchdown to end the game.

Yeah that happened. Green Bay had that game won in the first quarter and then they started noticeably not caring about the game. I think McCarthy intentionally didn't try to keep them motivated just because they don't want to be blowing everyone out just to a) show off all their best plays and b) attract extra attention.
