There would certainly be a lot of happy people here in GB if that happened. From what I know (which isn't much) the Brewers aren't as good a team as they were last year...

They definitely are not. The loss of Prince Fielder is huge. They were an excellent team last year, but the loss of that kind of production is irreplaceable.

It was a nice run they had, but they just aren't loaded enough at pitching or on offense to make up for it.

They might surprise some people, but I'm not placing any bets that they make the playoffs.

Rangers will take it. No doubt.

As much as I wish this were true, I just have a hard time believing after choking two times in a row that we can do it in a third time. I hope, though.
Hamilton is looking good for MVP.

This may be true. If he keeps it up, probably.

Not only does Boston have one of the worst records in the MLB at this point, but they just traded off one of their best pitchers. They left last season in a slump, and they haven't fought back. I doubt they'll even make the play-offs this year, if so just barely.

MVP AL- David Ortz NL- ???

Nah. D. Ortiz may be a safe bet, but not with the way the Red Sox are playing. It's too early to really call it.

Cy Young AL- CC Sabathia NL- Steven Strawsburgh

Again, too early to call this.

From the way I see things, it's probably whatever team makes it to the WS from the NL that will win it. What these games ultimately come down to is one key factor that a lot of people tend to overlook: pitchers hitting.

Here, NL will always have an advantage over AL, as the pitchers in AL don't hit at all, while the pitchers in the NL do it constantly. When the WS comes around and AL pitchers are forced to hit, it's basically a free out. NL pitchers? Not as much, even if it's still an easier out than normal.

If I had to predict a WS match-up, I'd say Rangers v. .....gah. Fail knowledge of NL is fail xD

If we make that 0-3 this year, I will be pissed. But then Nolan Ryan would have an incredible ownership record (made it to world series every year).

It's a contract year for him. But hey, whatever gets him going…
