Draft will be conducted on October the 1st. This is so teams have time and we can generate atleast 16 teams. If not then we will go with the teams available. I will post league rules and scoring method. Thanks.

I'll play but realize I know almost nothing about basketball and am just going to play the projections tightly. I'll keep up my end on substitutions and the like but don't expect any great creativity out of me!

Ehhh its basketball... The most predictable sport in all of professional sports. The analysis and projections in basketball are usually correct. There are hardly ever any sleepers and tons of busts every year though but never 1-4 round busts.

Is that because so few players play on a team? Aaron Rodgers can make a football team 1/22nd elite but Lebron James can make a basketball team 1/5th elite.

Fvck you guys. I call dibs on KD35. And Dirk. And LaMarcus Aldridge, the most under-rated player in the NBA.

I may sign up. I've never played before. There seem like quite a few pros and cons.

I feel like basketball would be hard to keep up with because there are so many games. I'd never play fantasy baseball for that reason. Plus with baseball there seem like too many players to keep track of. However with a much smaller roster, basketball seems like the players would be more easy to manage.

I also see why there wouldn't be a lot of sleepers, except in the case of injured starters affecting a team's line-up, or perhaps a dominant 6th man. I'm sure Jeremy Lin was the biggest sleeper in a LONG time. It's easy to see why-- teams have their go-to guys who we can expect to take the majority of the shots. While it's similar in football, there's still an element of uncertainty. For instance we know Tom Brady is gonna make a lot of throws. But who will make the catches. Welker? Gronk? Lloyd? This makes the NFL fantasy draft a lot more fun.

On one hand, I wanna sign up, cuz, well, why not. But on the other hand, unless you're gonna keep up with managing your team a lot during the season, then the most fun aspect of fantasy is the draft. It doesn't seem like a basketball draft would be all that interesting with everyone just relying on the projections (in which case we don't even need to draft - we can just assign players, lol). Considering I'm going to be EXTREMELY busy with working and going to school full time during b-ball season, I'm not sure how much I'll be able to keep up so maybe I shouldn't play. But then again, even if I don't and just wind up losing, it won't really affect anyone else - I'll just lose. So no biggie. We'll see. I'll play if you need someone else to join to make it even or whatever.
