Does anyone think he'll ever play again?
He gets worse and worse every year, and now the thing with the abuse case. What team would want him?

Yeah, I cant think of anyone who wants him. Him being let go before even playing a real game sucks for him.

I think that a team might grab him if receivers weren't so deep in the NFL right now. Owens and Moss got signed, and they are just as problematic as Johnson. It would have to be a team that's desperate and doesn't have a complex system (e.g., Patriots) because he's proven he can't operate in that type of environment.

I think it didn't help that right before this, he announced that he was going to be bringing back his trash-talking self. It's almost like he was setting up for drama.

I'm wondering how honest the Dolphins are in this situation. They say they are releasing Chad because they will not have anyone on their team that represents them in a bad way. I think they would have treated the situation differently if Chad was in his prime. Like Ben and the Steelers.

Well as I see it there are two ways to look at it:

1) The Dolphins are idiots. Johnson is a known diva and has always been trouble. He announced that his season with the Pats was an anomaly and that he was going back to his old ways. They should have seen this coming, or else stood by him when it happened because they should have been prepared for it.

2) The Dolphins are justified. They may have told him right away that one slip and he'd be gone, and they are sticking to their guns and making an example of him.
