Are you watching the Pats game? He may have thrown a pick, but he's acting like a Pro.

No, I don't get that game, not any. I'm watching just the ESPN gamecast. But it's not just the game, with this game he has 11 TDs to 10 picks and a 57.5% completion.

5 Rushing TDs with 17 fumbles (7 of them lost fumbles). The record is also a statement of the team rather than the individual. Remember Newton last year.

The colts team is young and inexperienced, won only a few games last year and new head coach has been out for the last six weeks.

A little surprised that no one brought up that Luck will likely break Newton's record last year of most passing yards by a rookie. He's also likely going to shatter the record for most Passing attempts by a rookie (current record is 590 and he is on track for 640), and may break the most completions by a rookie.

So far, Andrew has not won against a team with a good pass defense. The best that they've beaten has been Minisota, who is ranked 14th (which is really just slightly above average). Every other victory has been against teams all ranked in the 20's. And given that 4 of their last 5 games will be against teams all ranked in the top 10 of passing defense (including facing the Texans twice, who are currently 3rd), Andrew is probably going to see his stats looking worse in the last third of the season.

True, however the Patriots are far from a good pass defense.

RG3, and it isn't close.

Luck: 2964 yards, 57% completion, 12 TDs, 12 interceptions, 8 fumbles. QB rating - 76

RG3: 2,193 yards, 67% completion, 12 TD's, 3 interceptions, 9 fumbles. QB rating - 101.

Its also noteworthy that RG3 has the same number of TD passes even with 140 less pass attempts. He's way more efficient in...everything.

This isn't even counting him having 160 more rushing yards and a horrible receiving cast. Imagine what he could do if he had Reggie Wayne to throw to.

They're not even in the same tier.

They are ranked 29th. I'll have to wait for the stats to update over night, but Luck is either good or bad, he is not consistent. In games that the Colts lose, he really sucks, as of the stats now, he has 3 TDs to 6 Ints (will be 5 TDs to 9 Ints after today's game is added) with a passer rating of 60.2, so when he can't perform, the team loses, and he has not shown to be able to perform accept against below average pass defenses. Of their current 4 losses, 2 of them are from teams with passing defense in the top 10 (Jets #6 and Bears #10).

I didn't want to be the first to say.

But there are several Rookie records looking to be broken this year.

1) QB passer rating by a rookie (current record is 98.1), RG3 is looking to take this down.
2) Completion% by a rookie (current record is 66.44%), RG3 is looking at this one as well.
3) Interception% by a rookie (current record is 1.98%), RG3 is looking to this.
4) Rushing yards by a rookie. RG3 will very likely break this, which was set by Cam last year.
5) Passing yards by a rookie (Current is 4,051), Luck will must likely break this.
6) Passing attempts (current is 590), Luck will almost certainly break this by a long shot.
7) Completions (current is 354), Luck is on track to break this, but not by much.

RG3

Doug Martin will probably finish the year with like 1300+ yards rushing 10+ TDS and 400+ yards receiving. GIVE IT TO HIM

He's actually on track for 1,600 rushing yards (currently at 1,000 after 10 games). I will say that is definitely amazing.

Aren't you guys forgetting something? Griffin has another 613 yards on the ground - and 6 TDs. He's like Doug Martin + Andrew Luck.

Who cares? Rookie of the year doesn't measure potential, it measures real-time stats.
Just look at Cam Newton.

My pick is gonna be...

2) Doug Martin
3) Lucky Boy

And how many seasons is it gonna take? Every time he fails to live up to the absurd expectations for him (I actually feel a little bad that people expect so much out him), it is "oh, he's gonna be the best in time, just you wait." There have been plenty of QBs through the year that never lived up to the hype and just fade away into memory.

Yes, I do think it's too early to start talking about it. As for who is in the lead right now (in my opinion), there's no question - RG3. Numbers aside, I'm going by what I see when I watch them both play.

I'm so glad he's on my Fantasy team :) Of course, I think I accidentally started Matt Stafford yesterday by default (from him starting last week). Grr. RG3 is a beast. He throws the deep ball like a veteran. His legs make him a dual threat for SURE. Doug Martin is incredible, but RG3 is invaluable to his team. We all expected (at least I did) Doug to do well, because Greg Schiano is HUGE on the run game. After all, he coached Ray Rice at Rutgers. His game plan is very ground and pound. But RG3 takes his team to another level; he allows them to be competitive week in and week out.
