Minus the Thanksgiving games...

Miami @ Buffalo
Washington @ Philly
Tampa Bay @ Atlanta
Seattle @ St. Louis
Carolina @ NY Jets
Cleveland @ Cincinnati
Indianapolis @ Houston
Kansas City @ San Diego
Jacksonville @ San Francisco
Chicago @ Minnesota
Arizona @ Tennessee
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore
New England @ New Orleans

I'm a little shakey on my picks for the Jets and the Titans, and I know I'm disagreeing with a lot of people on those, but oh well. Young is on a roll. I also know that a lot of people are going with San Francisco over Jacksonville, but whatever. My Steelers pick is also pretty controversial. And of course, I'm going with the Saints over the Pats, baby! I don't like the Pats as you all know, so this is good. Anyway, it looks like there will be a lot of good games this week. Some no-brainer picks like usual (i.e. the Dolphins, Bengals, Chargers and Vikings to name a few) but overall a good week for football.

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta
Seattle @ St. Louis

Cleveland @ Cincinnati
Indianapolis @ Houston
Kansas City @ San Diego

Arizona @ Tennessee (This is actually a tough game to pick.)

New England @ New Orleans (This is tough, too.)

I'm going with Arizona because they're quietly 7-3 and now running the ball extremely well (Go Bucks!). MNF is a crapshoot, but I'm a Saints fan, so I'll go NOLA.

Well we disagree on Seattle/St. Louis, Carolina/Jets, Indianapolis/Houston, and Arizona/Tennessee. I agree with you that some games were hard to pick, like the Titans game (you make a good point about Arizona though...) and admittedly I chose the Jets because I'm hopeful lol not necessarily because I think they'll beat Carolina. So actually I'm gonna go ahead and SAY CAROLINA OVER JETS. My wishful thinking shouldn't stand in the way of my logic ;) I completey disagree with you though on your picks for the Rams and Texans. Yes, the Texans came close to beating the Colts last time but that may have been a fluke. They've been struggling (obviously) and K. Brown is unreliable.

I hope you're right about the Jets.

The Panthers' only real weapon is the run, and the Jets have a strong run defense. I really don't think the Panthers can put the ball in Delhomme's hands against a defense that tends to blitz frequently and pressure the quarterback well and expect to win. The Panthers' offensive line is mediocre to begin with, but they lost perhaps their best linemen a couple of weeks ago, so really, it just all adds up to the Jets winning.

Plus, the Panthers f-cking s-ck t stopping the run, while the Jets have one of the best running teams in the league.

Yes, I agree. I expect to see a lot of short completions from Sanchez and a big running game indeed from the Jets. The Jets will probably get most of their points from FGs too. Both QBs suck so I highly doubt it will be a high scoring game. This will be a game of running vs. defense for sure, although who knows - the coaches might switch it up a bit to throw people off haha. I think it'll be a really close game; it's cool that the Jets have home field advantage but I think the Panthers are gonna put up a good fight. They wanna make the post season really badly. The score will probably be around... 17 Panthers, 16 Jets. Who knows.

Well they started out 5-0 and have now moved to 6-5 after losing to the Broncos this week. That makes 6 straight losses. Damn. As for the rest of the season, we'll let's see:

Dallas @ Giants
Philadelphia @ Giants
Giants @ Washington
Carolina @ Giants
Giants @ Minnesota

Realistically, I only see them winning 2 more definite games (against Washington and Carolina) putting them at a final of 8-8. However, if the Giants can pull it together and beat the Eagles (which they are capable of doing if they can just friggin pull it off!) then... we'll see. They are capable of beating Dallas too but for some reason just haven't been performing. I have high hopes though and think that this is Eli's chance to step up and be a leader; if he can lead the Giants to victory for the next few games, then we only have to worry about Minnesota there at the end. And hey, who knows, the Giants make things happen (think of the huuuge 2007 upset with the Pats at the Super Bowl lol). Bottom line - Don't count the Giants out unless they lose to both Dallas and Philly.

Ha ha, good call, L. I don't do the avatar bets, although I've been amused seeing Nags with "My Little Pony" for a week.

This is a tough game, and some emotion is trumping pure logic here; I picked Houston last time and came sooooooo close.... Good call on K. Brown, but Indy has to lose sometime...right?

Also, regarding the Cardinals/Titans game, the Cards have been Road Warriors this season (5-0) --- compared to last season, when they couldn't win a game in any time zone east of Mountain to save their lives (1-5 east of Mountain time in 2008).

Then again, I think I'm 0-10 (or however many weeks have been played - bye week) picking the Titans this season.
