This team is perhaps the deepest team in the league, and I don't see that they lost anybody significant in free agency. They have SIX draft picks in the first 100 players in the 2014 draft. Is there more pressure on any other team to win than them this year?

But 3 of those are 3rd round. Though, there are rumors that Houston may be willing to trade their #1 pick for a number of picks. After all, Houston doesn't need a single super star, they need a handful of good players.

Don't they still need a QB?

You can't trade compensatory picks but they could trade their other picks and then use the compensatory picks as their normal ones I suppose... Lots of talent in third round.

I don't envy their position, to have to either take a sure-fire pro-bowler in Clowney (and leave QB unfilled) or a questionable QB prospect. It's lose-lose.

Matt Schaub had a bad year, but he certainly isn't the worst QB you can have starting. He did pull off 5 years straight with a QBR over 90. I would say that a QB is not a straight up "need" for them, that they have to get one.

Matt Schaub is a pro bowl QB, and if he was on the Texans, I'd agree with this.

He's an Oakland Raider now.

The Texans currently have T.J. Yates and Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB. So I think it's safe to say that QB is a need for them.

A 5th and 6th round pick? He wasn't great, but he was clearly better than that. I will probably be rooting for him and will keep an eye on who Texas takes with those picks.

He was pretty good for awhile, and I would have thought he'd be worth more than two lower draft picks. I imagine the lack of value has to do with the fact that he's been so injury prone lately.

I think the Patriots and Broncos have more pressure to win. Denver just spent the house on success over the next 3 years. They only have a couple more left in Manning. Elway is trying to buy a Super Bowl, and he played a good hand this free agency period.

As far as the draft picks we need multiple CBs and WRs. This team is deep just because we can essentially fill out the roster with our first 6 picks, but of course we will look for some value in the later rounds. I think you can trade our 3rd round pick because the comp pick is only 4 spots back. You can also package the 2nds to move up or trade one of them for a 1st round pick next year.
