2/1/2010 11:46:44 AM Posted: 8 years ago Who here follows college basketball?
I'm a Rutgers fan, but as usual they're not ranked this year haha. So far this season I've been loving Kentucky. They're ranked 3rd at the moment, but I love John Wall and I hope they keep up the good work. I like a lot of other players too: Booker from Clemson, though I don't even think Clemson is ranked. Haringody from Notre Dame is the guy I love to hate. Top 20 at the moment... 1. Kansas 2. Villanova 3. Kentucky 4. Syracuse 5. Michigan State 6. West Virginia 7. Purdue 8. Georgetown 9. Duke 10. Texas 11. Kansas Sate 12. Brigham Young University 13. Gonzaga 14. Tennessee 15. Butler 16. Wisconsin 17. Temple 18. Ohio State 19. Georgia Tech 20. Vanderbilt |

It's probably my favorite sport to watch along with college football. Why Rutgers? It's hard not to love Kentucky, especially for Wildcat fans who had to endure several mediocre years. They may be too young to reach their full potential, but they are playing really well. Know what you mean about Harangody...he's so fugly! Although that shouldn't matter, it just does. He's such a white boy--surprised he doesn't play for Duke. Kansas is incredible, but I hope they don't win it again. |

I personally don't like them... I can't bring myself to eat them lol but I know they're considered the best "drunk food" ever. There's all different types of Fat Sandwiches. Next time you should get one from The Grease Trucks. |

I'm a huge NCAA fan (I like it better than the NBA) so I figured I'd update this list. 1. Kansas 1. Kansas 2. Kentucky 3. Purdue 4. Syracuse 5. Duke 6. Kansas State 7. West Virginia 8. Villanova 9. Ohio State 10. Butler 11. Brigham Young 12. New Mexico 13. Georgetown 14. Michigan State 15. Gonzaga 16. Pittsburgh 17. Tennessee 18. Temple 19. Wisconsin 20. Vanderbilt 21. Texas 22. Northern Iowa 23. Texas A&M 24. Richmond 25. UTEP I really like Syracuse, Ohio State, Kentucky and Villanova so far this season. Does anyone know if the Buckeyes beat U of M today? |

2/27/2010 6:18:16 PM Posted: 8 years ago Yep, Ohio over Michigan 66-55. Not really surprising, Michigan hasn't been any good as basketball since the Fab Five.

3/1/2010 10:41:24 PM Posted: 8 years ago Turner has been leading an Ohio State tear...heard some analysts suggest he should be considered for player of the year. Who is this year's player of the year?
The Big Ten has some strong teams; I think they're gonna make some noise in the tourney. Just hoping my team--the Illini--get in. |

The Big East is the best conference IMO. My team (Rutgers) plays there but they suck ;P |

Unfortunately, Turner's Buckeyes knocked my Illini out of the Big Ten Tournament in double overtime, and we didn't get into the NCAAs! It was pretty disappointing thinking they'd get in and watching selection Sunday and being denied.
Hard to argue with that--the Big East being the best, that is. Saw that you're pulling for the Orangemen, Irish and Wildcats--definitely a Big East fan. Hummel's injury for Purdue is gonna weaken the Big Ten's performance, along with the injuries and chemistry issues of Mich St. I have loved watching Villanova play for the last four or five years--their style of play is so exciting! I really look forward to them possibly playing Duke in the Elite Eight. West Virginia and Georgetown--two more Big East teams that could make a deep run. Did you see Georgetown thrash Duke earlier this year? Taken to the woodshed... |
