Well as some of you may heard, Antonio Cromartie's deal with the Jets is sealed and set. +1 for the Jets. But, now Miami Dolphin DB Jason Taylor (5 time pro-bowler, holds NFL record for most sacks in a consecutive season), is now going to hold a green and white jersey, and I dont mean the dolphins. It seems due to a larger amount of money and influence, the damn New Yorkers bought Miami's golden child. Why must New york always ruin Florida year to year?

Good lord, they got Jason Taylor? But they were already the best defense without a pass rusher. Now it'll be basically impossible to score on them, unless the guy starts really feeling his age.

The Jets offense is not that impressive though they lack the superstar player on offense. Unless Braylon Edwards becomes his pro bowl self again.

I'm a Dolphins fans, and I'm not too discouraged.

Taylor publicly said he didn't want to play for NYJ, but it was basically his only option.

But even though he's from Pennsylvania, just compare his Redskins seasons to his Dolphins seasons. When you get to be his age, consistent warm weather makes a difference; he won't have that in NYJ.

Then again, a really good team (even offense) makes a big difference, too....

This. I'll still be rooting for the Jets, obv, but their offense is the problem. Their QB needs to mature and quickly...

They are counting on him too, and they are still looking at adding another WR.

They add LaDainian Thomlinson

Damn....they'll have rings for sure then.

You would think so... but I think evidence is not in the favor of teams that try to buy their way to rings.

From what I can remember, but I could be wrong?

There is no such thing as buying a superbowl. And why would you hate a team for acquiring good players?! I'm sure if Peyton Manning wanted to go to the Giants, you'd have no problem with it lol. Besides, they're not even in the same league so they're practically not even competition to your favorite team. What gives? Next year is going to be very exiting for New York fans regarding almost all sports and teams :D Yaaay!

Panda, why would a thread concerning an activity where men run around, get hot and sweaty and wrestle with each other for hours possibly be...about....never mind I see your point.

On a more relevant note, all I can say is thank goodness they didn't sign Peppers

I said... TRYING... Big diff.

And why would you hate a team for acquiring good players?! I'm sure if Peyton Manning wanted to go to the Giants, you'd have no problem with it lol.

Yep, but rooting against a team trying to buy a superbowl is like rooting for the underdog.

Besides, they're not even in the same league so they're practically not even competition to your favorite team.

I know. But a brother can still HATE, can't he!

Knicks - You've got a point. Nets have 2 first round draft picks and a crap ton of salary space, so they're probably going to get a big player. The guy before me mentioned LeBron, but I think Dwane Wade is more likely (considering Jay Z is a Nets franchise owner or whatever and the 2 of them are friends). Plus, considering the Nets are going to get at least 2 big players next season, AND the fact that they're moving back to my hometown of Brooklyn (in the next 2 years), I'd say that yeah there's pretty good things in store for them :D
