The Giants are still the only team that can beat Tom Brady.

That was actually one of the greatest Superbowls ever. And I was SO happy to see the Hawks D-Nide.

I'm a Giants fan, I used to really like the Seahawks in the days they had Matt Hasselbeck...but yeah, this game was awesome, and I loved seeing Pete Carroll and Richard Sherman's reaction to losing.

I haven't checked yet, but it's probably already out there.

This should silence a lot of the people (not necessarily on this site, but in other places) who say that all Brady did to win his previous super bowls was to rely on his defense and kicker. The dude just led two 4th quarter touchdown drives against the best secondary of all time, with 0 help from the run game. Such a beast.

That said, the only thing dumber than Bill Belichick not calling a timeout when they were on the 1 yard line was Pete Carroll's decision to throw it on that play. That might go down as the dumbest play call of all time. Belichick's lack of a timeout might be the best coaching blunder ever, because I don't see Carroll calling that play if he had time to think about it.

Amazing game though. One of the best I've seen.

I think the hawks beat themselves on that play call and a couple of penalties they didn't need. If Lynch runs that last play for a touchdown instead of Wilson throwing an interception it's a completely different game which probably goes into overtime.

Brady did well, but he didn't beat the Seahawks defense at full strength and I don't think it was much of a standout performance on his part. The Pats offensive plan was solid but a lot of their yards came from exploiting the weakness created by Whats-his-names injury in the first quarter, and Brady was picked off twice. It was a good game for him but it could have been much better. Without the injury, I doubt the Pats would have done nearly as well offensively, and I think the hawks would have won. I think they could have won in OT too but its impossible to say at this point. Still a good game to watch.
