Soccer is one of the sports I can sort of enjoy, and I occasionally watch it. It's Quarter finals of the Copa America (CONMEBOL Championships) and we're playing Ecuador. 1-0 so far. If we win, we will have at least tied our best-ever performance in this tournament (4th place).

With all the yellows we've gotten this game, which prevent some of our players from playing next game, it's going to be tough for us against (probs) Argentina if we advance.

USA WINS!!!!!

We've now tied our best record in the tournament, and we could exceed it (though that would requiring beating #1 ranked Argentina, or winning the 3rd place game).

The US needed this win. On home soil, against a beatable team. Sure Ecuador is talented, but there not as good as Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, or Uruguay. After this it's basically playing with house money. Keep it respectable against Argentina and that should be seen as a success. Because as nice as it would be to upset Argentina, it's highly unlikely to happen.
