This is the ultimate thread of college football. What's your favorite team? Favorite player? Who's going to win the BCS bowl next season? What about the Heisman?

Peronsally, I'm a big UGA fan, LSU a strong second with FSU right in third.

Discuss!

What's your favorite team?
Michigan

Favorite player?
Jordan Kovacs
Walk-on to scholarship starter, pretty impressive

Who's going to win the BCS bowl next season?
Whatever SEC school wins the conference, there isn't anyone to challenge them.

What about the Heisman?
Not even going to guess, could be anyone.

I've always been a Huskies and Beaver fan.

I don't really know who is going to win the BCS, the Ducks are going to still have their big players that got them there last year. They had a rookie QB that is only going to be better this year.

Didn't LaMichael James declare for the draft?

I was just asking, didn't know if he had, although it seems that not declaring after a Heisman capable/winning season is something of a curse as of late.

-Mark Ingram getting injured at the start of the season
-Tim Tebow's concussion
-Sam Bradford re-injuring his shoulder
-Mike Hart's constant hamstring/ankle injuries in 2007

I agree, the Ducks are going to do very well next season. Personally, I'm a big SEC fan, so I really hope it's from anyone in the SEC.

I'm a Nebraska fan and my favorite player is Tommie Frazier, the owner of the best run in a championship game.

Its crazy to think Nebraska was supposed to be to slow to beat Florida.

Hopefully Bo Pelini will get things straight on the offense this year and can get Martinez to throw some.

In WI our team is the Badgers apparently... Are they any good? When I used to live in Rhode Island the baseball "farm teams" used to shoot players up the the major leagues but apparently in football it doesn't matter a bit where you started; I think this makes it a bit less interesting although I'm sure I'll be challenged on that.

Yes Wisconsin was good.
Although a lot of players just graduated this year, so you'll have to wait and see if they retain their prominence.
However they did get upset by TCU in the Rose Bowl.

I thought TCU was the favorite in the Rose Bowl?

TCU was favored by about a field goal.

The general populace thought that it was bit of an underdog story though - since TCU came from a non-automatic BCS qualifying conference and Wisconsin was a big-time program with a storied history. Wisconsin should have won that game though, the offensive coordinator was very incompetent with his play-calling.

I know, he only threw 2 screens to Isaac Anderson's side...

All they had to do was run the ball the whole game and they would've destroyed. Their O-Line was like 100 Lbs. bigger per player...
