So my friends and I were discussing free will and predestination, so I asked my pastor about it and he said:
Ah"Wow. Well this is kind of a huge question.
However, in short"the bible teaches that our wills are so sinfully depraved, that if left to our own choice, we would always reject God. Hence the reason why we need the Holy Spirit to regenerate our wills to believe in him.

At the same time, we still don"t reject the passages in the bible that command us to believe in him and repent.

In general, the term free will is not really a biblical term. Our wills, just like everything else, are sinful and have a propensity towards sin.
