I'm looking to purchase an iPod Touch, but am not sure whether to go with a refurbished 2nd generation or a new 4th generation 32gb model.

Are there any major differences that would make the 4th gen worth an extra $60-100?
When Reach fell, I came.

The only real difference is that the 4th gen has a two video cameras/cameras and the 3rd gen has no cameras. Also the 4th gens design cause the screen to crack easier when dropped as compared to the 3rd gen. The 4th gen also has better speakers and a microphone the 3rd gen has no microphone.

Wrong, the 3RD gen DOES have a microphone. If you are buying a refurbished model off of Apple's website, go for the third gen, you will get a new product.
