So...it seems the Grand Wizard of Apple, Steve Jobs, is stepping down as CEO.

Thoughts?

Why is he stepping down as CEO? For what reasons or circumstances?

It hasn't been officially stated (he never said definitively), but some think that it's due to declining health. After all, he HAS been fighting pancreatic cancer.

I see...Who will replace him as the CEO?

That hasn't been determined either. He just resigned today, I think.

Oh...I see. Now, what makes him so significant? (Pardon my ignorance of what Apple is, or what it actually is good for. My knowledge of technology is nil at best).

To be fair, I think this would be more fitting for the news forum. Do you agree?
