Yes, it is true. We still have a long way to go, and a short time to get there.
There are countries all around the world, where the internet is still quite a technicalogical marvel. We have people living in poor run down countries, islands, and Communist districts. Some of them do have limitations and restrictions, too.
But this is incredible, and I learned about this on yesterday.
The internet phenomenon has just begun, and it is still growing. What do you think about this.

It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

If liberal democrats would just stop shooting people gun violence would drop by 90%

I think it is quite remarkable that 30 of every 100 people on earth use the Internet. What does the Internet have to do with the necessities of providing food, clothing, or shelter? It seems a frill relative to the basics of survival.

Usage was 22% in 2007 and 30% was passed in March of 2011, making the recent trend growth of about 2% per year. So perhaps 50% is only a decade away.

I heard a talk recently by a UN representative from Nigeria. Less than a decade ago there were 400,000 phone lines serving the 135 million citizens of Nigeria. Now there are 70 million cell phones. One of the important uses is access to medical training and advice by local providers through conference calls.

The world population passed 7 billion on October 31, according to the people who keep track of such things.

Yeah our poverty line is less than a dollar a day.

Actually, is really not. If we take into account the purchasing power, a dollar equals 19 rupees which makes 37 rupees equal 1.9 dollars.

Wow that is interesting. Wait how is that possible if 80% of the world has a computer of some sort?

37/19= 1.947(lots of irrelevant digits no one cares about)
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.
