Gah. It's hard to decide.

Overall: The Assassin's Creed series.

At this very moment: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

You can put multiple series, and games if you want.

And Skyrim all the way!

Favourite games of all time:
1) Metal Gear Solid (PSX)
This game was the first time I felt completely enthralled in a games plot. Such memorable characters... Vulcan Raven, Psycho Mantis... When he broke the forth wall... whoa. It's gameplay was great, it looked great (for the time) and it had replay value in the form of multiple endings. Just a great game...

2) Diablo 2 (PC)
Here is where my teenage years were spent. Running the same 5 levels over and over again. Addictive gameplay with seemingly infinite replayability in the form of random dungeons, ever increasing difficulty and such awesome items.

3) Resident Evil (PSX)
This is THE game that gave me nightmares (apparently). Cheesy dialogue, terrifying atmosphere, great, great, great.

4) GTA: Vice City (PS2)
Whoa. Just whoa. The first 'true sandbox' game I ever played extensively (I know GTA3 game out first, but it was just a prelude to this imho) and boy did I play it extensively. This is the first game I ever went 100% on. I had the t-shirt that said "I got 100% in Vice City and all I got was this T-Shirt" even though I actually got a army helicopter in my front yard... (I think... I know I was really powerful by that stage)
Spent many weekends with my mates seeing how long we could last with 5 stars.

Notable series/games:
Metal Gear (loved all the games)
Resident Evil (loved all the games)
GTA (From the old birds eye view originals to GTA4, great, great game)
God of War (Kratos is the best video game character ever. Such a bad arse)
Left 4 Dead (Zombies, zombies... EVERYWHERE! ARGH THEY'RE BITING ME!!!)
World of Warcraft (So massive... So, so massive)
Counter-strike (Spent a lot of time playing this post-Diablo 2)
Team Fortress Classic/2 (So much fun. I'm a great Spy. Stabby McStabbington is my name. Destroying your turret is my game)
Legend of Zelda (Masterful series)
Red Dead Redemption (Was a great, great game. Then I played with zombies and it was better)
Manhunt (This was so controversial I had to mention it)
Tekken (Best fighting game ever. No questions.)
Tetris (Needed to be mentioned)

Currently playing: Skyrim and Battlefield 3.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some games, but meh.

Oh and Cut the Rope is my favourite iPhone game. I've finished both the original and experiments with 3 stars on every level. Bring on more levels!

2. Super Smash Bros Series (Have played them all... Dont think you can actually "beat" one lol)
3. Elder Scrolls Series (Have Played/Beaten Arena, Daggerfall, and Oblivion. I think I know what I am talking about.. -_-)
4. Soulcaliber Series (Have only Played/Beaten 2 and 4, Cant wait for 5! Go Ezio!
5. Fallout Series (Have so far played/Beaten all of them..)
Allow me to give you my card....

I played a lot of SSB on the 64. We made a "No Kirby" rule, (he's been nerfed in more recent games I feel...) so I used Fox. The most recent one was hella fun, but I couldn't get the online play to work without being laggy as fvck.

Fallout 3 was amazing, but Skyrim is better.

What I've played way too much of in the past:

Pokemon
Rome: Total War
WoW
Starcraft 2
Age of Mythology
Age of Empires 3
Quake Live
Combat Arms (hate my self for that one)

Fallout: New Vegas
God Hand
Soul Calibur 3
Hitman: Blood Money
Ratchet & Clank 3
Saints Row 2 and 3
Command & Conquer: Generals and its addon, Zero Hour
Total War: Shogun 2
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Burnout: Revenge
The Valkyrie Chronicles series.
Hogs of War (Bonus points even for knowing what this is)

Skyrim doesn't quite make it for how broken it is, and no other games are the kind where I can sit down and lose a day playing them. These are the games I can come back to time and again, no other games do that for me.

Going with "favorite" as opposed to "GOAT," I'll say (keep in mind I'm older):

1: Original Phantasy Star Series (I haven't really played 1, but I'm obsessed with 2-4)
2: Quakelive (Quake 1 was also great about 15 years ago)
3: 007 and Perfect Dark for N64 (although I can't play them nowadays because I've been weened off the control style).
4: Civilization 1
5: Rocksmith. This game is effing badazz. As a player myself, I find it an effective learning tool even at my advanced level.

I've come to the conclusion from this that a good deal of DDO are open world style games fans, like Fallout, or The Elder Scrolls.
