So I finally got a new phone because my old one is really screwed up and nearly impossible to use.

I was trying to transfer everything from my old one to my new one. I need to back up my old one and restore my new one to do this.

However, my old one refuses to connect via USB to my computer. (that bastard)

So I need to back it up through iCloud.

However, my old phone's connection has been canceled because I got the new one.

So I need wifi.

However, my old phone has the wifi problem that many iPhone 3s have had. It won't find my wifi.

I've tried all the solutions I could find on this, aside from the ones resorting to taking a part my phone doing crazy shit like heating it or freezing it.

Any idea what I can do?

Come on, this is the Technology forum. You'll be lucky to get a response in a day.

Yeah, I know. I was hoping to have it figured out before I left the house though.

Do you have a computer? (Laptop, desktop, etc.)

It's a PC laptop.

Does it have iTunes? Synch your iPod to your laptop's iTunes, backup all the data on your laptop, and then re download it onto the next iPod.

Your best bet is working out why the cable doesn't work. Have you tried a different cable and a different usb port?

Otherwise, you have tried everything I would have done already.

I've tried a different cable, different USB ports and cleaning out the port on the phone. It's just screwed up.
