Well my personal justification for it being bad would be if the cons outweigh the pros, but good if the pros outweigh the cons, but your right in saying I should have been more explicit.

- Blu-Ray
- Huge HDD
- Better cost relative to the Xbox

The advantages the Xbox previously trumped over the PS3 are now pretty much non-existent with the Dualshock out, the PSN improved, plus the Sony exclusives are coming out in full force. The 360's and PS3's libraries are now pretty much balanced.

The PS3 was always win in my books. Now that it's cheaper and has a bigger hard drive, it's super-win.
"Let me tell you the truth. The truth is, 'what is'. And 'what should be' is a fantasy, a terrible terrible lie that someone gave to the people long ago. The 'what should be' never did exist, but people keep trying to live up to it. There is no 'what should be,' there is only what is." - Lenny Bruce

"Satan goes to church, did you know that?" - Godsands

"And Genisis 1 does match modern science... you just have to try really hard." - GR33K FR33K5

Super duper win when i think that i forgot to buy my PS3, and i learned later that a slimmer, better PS3 would be coming out which was much cheaper.

What have they done to improve the PSN?

It has basically the same content as Xbox Live, bar the exclusives, the online play is still free, the PSN cards are available in most shops and in general the system is more reliable and efficient than before.

But i believe XBOX gets their content faster than PS3, i heard that somewhere... Still, PSN is free so i doubt many would complain...

The fact that it's free doesn't eliminate download speed argument, but it makes it variable. I wouldn't mind paying a fixed fee per month for faster download.
